Montebrisa fills a restored building in Matagalpa that kept its Art Deco Streamline Moderne lines, with modern comforts added inside. Around it grow gardens holding more than 300 coffee trees, 18 kinds of fruit trees and over 45 ornamental species, with Cerro El Calvario and the Apante Natural Reserve rising behind. The cathedral and Parque Morazán are three blocks away, along with the town's cafés, restaurants and shops.
The rooms come in four types: Queen Interior, Queen Balcony, King Garden View and Double Queen Garden View, which has two queen beds for four guests. Each has a private bathroom with hot water and a rain shower, air conditioning plus a ceiling fan, and a safe. Wi-Fi covers the rooms and the rest of the property. Breakfast is the meal the house serves, à la carte, every morning.
